Actually, what distinguishes first and second way is the curved shape, while for thestraight line just the same as the first way. So first create a path to a straight line.Click on the start point of the curve, then click again in the middle of the arch. Here noneed to hold and pull. Press Ctrl and click to finish the path.
Add Anchor Point in the middle of the path line in the arch with a right click on the pathand select the Add Anchor Point. Press Ctrl, click the new Anchor Point and hold thenslide into the bottom left corner to its position as arches.
